Rogers Corporation designs, develops, manufactures and sells highly engineered elastomeric material solutions for a wide variety of applications and market segments. Our polyurethane and silicone materials are used in critical cushioning, sealing and vibration management applications for portable electronics devices, automotive, aerospace, rail, and general industrial market segments. Our customized silicones can be found in flex heater and semiconductor thermal applications; and our PTFE and UHMW materials are used in wire and cable and automotive applications among others. Rogers elastomeric materials are sold globally to converters, fabricators, distributors and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). Trade names for our products include: PORON®, BISCO®, DeWAL®, ARLON®, eSORBA®, and XRD® Technology.
In November 2016, we acquired DeWAL Industries, LLC (DeWAL), a leading manufacturer of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMW) films, pressure sensitive tapes and specialty products for the industrial, aerospace, automotive, and electronics markets. In October 2021 we acquired Silicone Engineering, a European manufacturer of silicone material solutions. The acquisitions of DeWAL and Silicone Engineering have enabled us to increase scale and complement our existing product offerings, thus enhancing our ability to support our customers.
