ECORE’s Industrial Division manufactures and distributes an extensive portfolio of cork and rubber products to support a variety of markets including industrial, aerospace, and automotive segments. The Division supplies cork/rubber materials for fluid sealing and anti-skid applications, recycled masticated rubber products for automotive assembly lines and anti-fatigue mats, and composition cork for applications ranging from the bulletin boards in children’s schools to the heat ablative insulating on the NASA space shuttle. ECORE’s quality management system for the manufacture and distribution of rubber, cork, and cork/rubber products for non flooring applications has been certified to ISO 9001:2000. With all manufacturing located in the U.S.A., ECORE is the only company to support the full line domestic manufacturer of cork and cork/rubber products, to certify composition cork material to U.S. Federal specification HHC-576b, and to certify cork/rubber products to military specification MIL C 6183B. Committed to producing high-quality products with a positive environmental impact, ECORE makes a priority of manufacturing with premium quality recyclable materials. Cork products are produced from rapidly renewable, harvested resources and rubber products are made using recycled tire rubber diverted from the nation’s landfills. As North America’s largest user of recycled scrap tire rubber, ECORE processes more than 80 million pounds of scrap tire rubber each year, helping to conserve more than one million barrels of oil. From bulletin boards to shoe soles, underlayments to gaskets, and clutches to the space shuttle, ECORE products preserve the health of the natural environment while exceeding the industry’s highest performance standards.
