By “connecting the dots” of the world economy, renowned economist, White House advisor, and best-selling author Todd Buchholz will help you develop a timely vision as the economy and manufacturing sector revive from COVID, while facing up to new threats of inflation and supply-chain disruptions.

As a frequent commentator on the state of the markets, Todd Buchholz brings his experience as a former White House director of economic policy, a managing director of the $15 billion Tiger hedge fund, and a Harvard economics teacher to the cutting edge of economics, fiscal politics, finance, and business strategy. Buchholz is a frequent guest on ABC News, PBS, and CBS, and he recently hosted his own special on CNBC.

John Garrett graduated from the University of Notre Dame and became a CPA with PricewaterhouseCoopers before working several years in industry — all while having a hobby of doing stand-up comedy. Since then, he’s written two Emmy-nominated awards shows, has a comedy album on Sirius XM, and has been on stage over 2,000 times, opening for the likes of comedian Louie Anderson and the band Train. His research and speaking caused Accounting Today to name him one of the Top100 Most Influential People in the Profession. His book, What’s Your “And”?: Unlock the Person Within the Professional, is getting rave reviews as organizations look for ways to attract and retain engaged talent.
This session features a roundtable discussion of items that are of interest to CEOs. Attendance is limited to CEOs and senior officers with P/L responsibility. A maximum of two people per member company may attend, provided that they both meet the provisions.

Tuesday morning will begin with a Welcome Breakfast and Orientation, open to all meeting attendees, to kick off a day of committee meetings and discussion sessions. New members and first-time attendees, along with their spouses, are encouraged to attend this orientation for a brief overview of the GFA, and for a chance to meet a few people before the general meeting.

Meetings are open to all attendees except as noted on the schedule. Please note that Manufacturer Representatives are NOT permitted to attend any GFA functions.
For all committee meetings and general sessions, the attire is casual. The cocktail receptions are informal.
