What’s Your “And”?: Create Unique Cultures that Attract and Retain Engaged Talent
John Garrett, Corporate Culture Catalyst and Comedian

In a time when talent is at a premium, organizations need to differentiate themselves more than ever before. The future professional doesn’t define expertise simply in college degrees and certifications. They have passions outside of work that enhance their ability to develop stronger levels of trust with colleagues and customers. Through hilarious stories and extensive research, this presentation encourages organizations to uncover their people’s passions because they are the very heart of your organization’s culture.

John Garrett graduated from the University of Notre Dame and became a CPA with PricewaterhouseCoopers before working several years in industry — all while having a hobby of doing stand-up comedy. Since then, he’s written two Emmy-nominated awards shows, has a comedy album on Sirius XM, and has been on stage over 2,000 times, opening for the likes of comedian Louie Anderson and the band Train. His research and speaking caused Accounting Today to name him one of the Top100 Most Influential People in the Profession. His book, What’s Your “And”?: Unlock the Person Within the Professional, is getting rave reviews as organizations look for ways to attract and retain engaged talent.
