Study on Cutability and Tool Wear

The GFA conducted a study on the problem of "cutability" and tool wear brought on by the change to non-asbestos gasketing materials. Below is a copy of the History and Summary of the GFA Cutability Study and a copy of the Gasket Material Test developed to obtain a comparative relation of the abrasion of different gasket materials. Abrasion Testing Devices may be purchased from the GFA office.
